UNDERSTANDING YOUR SKIN

What is your skin type?

Before choosing or starting any treatment, it’s important to understand your skin type.

Dry skin

Dry skin is characterized by almost invisible pores and often a rough & dry complexion. If your skin is dry, it may crack, peel, become itchy, irritated, or inflamed.

Oily skin

Oily skin is characterized by heightened sebum production resulting in shiny or thick texture. You may also have enlarged pores, blackheads, pimples, and other blemishes.

Combination skin

You may have dry skin in some areas and have oily skin in the others such as your T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin).

Sensitive skin

Sensitive skin often has red patches and feels irritated. Using the wrong treatment easily results in redness, itching, and dryness.

Normal skin

Not too dry or not oily, normal skin has little or no blemishes. If you have normal skin, you may have barely invisible pores and a radiant complexion.

CLEANSE

Remove impurities, debris, and product buildup by properly cleansing your skin. Cleansing will also make your skin maintain a proper level of hydration and help it prepare for the easy absorption of skincare treatment.

TREAT

Targeted treatments such as serums and essences will help address fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, and other skin concerns.

LIFT

The skin around our eyes is 40% thinner and more delicate, which is why it’s the area where signs of aging commonly appear first. Take extra care of your eyes with a lifting eye cream.

MOISTURIZE

Add extra moisture to your skin by completing your routine with a day cream or night cream. Choose creams that offer sun protection to protect your skin from damaging UV rays and help rejuvenate it while you sleep.
